April 5th (Monday).  7 pm.  "Old Growth Forest”.  This ZOOM program will be presented by Dr. Joan Maloof - author, forest ecologist at Salisbury State University (MD) and founder of the Old Growth Forest Network.  Get your notebooks ready as Joan will enlighten us all about Old Growth Forests and why they are so valuable.  As you may know, our own Hickory Hollow Natural Area Preserve has been inducted into the Old Growth Forest Network.  If you are unaware of her books, you are missing some enlightening nature writing.  This is not to be missed.
