The 3rd Northumberland-Lancaster Christmas Bird Count is on Tuesday 18 Dec.  The event again this year is sponsored by NNAS. Last year the event identified over 100 species.

This year the bird count will deploy sector teams to nine sectors.  Each sector team is composed of 3 to 6 birders.  Sector leaders this year are Sandy Dodge, Betsy Washington, Tom Saunders, Beth Kendrick, Melissa Gross, Bill Blair, Leslie Fellows, Joe Cooney, and Harry Colestock.
