During this event participants will learn about the important role blue birds play in our ecosystem, how to construct their own bluebird house for their property, and hike along Stratford's property to view the bluebird houses that the Virginia Blue Bird Society maintain at Stratford Hall.

The Wildlife Center of VA will be releasing an adult bald eagle on Wednesday, July 4 at 11am at the Wilna Pond at the Rappahannock River Valley National Wildlife Refuge. This eagle was first found on the Rappahannock River Valley NWR on May 10 during the biologist's regular breeding bird count.
